Chapter 1 & 2 in "You Majored In What"
Chap 1 talks about the different steps that can lead to a career choice. It explained how most college students are indecisive about chosing the right major. A great example of that are students with a liberal art major who happen to encounte great difficulties on choosing a career or have a few choices findong the few choices when it comes to getting the right job.
The two major points in Chapter 1 are the Linear Theory and the Chaos Theory. The Linear Theory is an approach to career analysis that was created to reduce the elements of uncertainty. On the other hand there's the Chaos Theory is based on mathematical formulas uniquely designed to develop a better a better weatherprediction wgich interpretes as the path to a career can be very complex .
Chapter 2 demonstrate the process of self absorment and how to make sense of the majors chosen, most likely how to deal with the chaos created while choosing a career. To make intelligent decisions, and most importantly self discovery.
